The reticular veins are the vessels that distribute and feed subcutaneously the inferior extremities and feed the little varicosities called ‘telangiectasia’ which are responsible to esthetic vascular problems

They form a wide net of veins underneath the skin.

The term telangiectasia describes the small venous vessels visible to the human eye. These vessels have a red to blue tone and measure about 0 – 0.1mm in diameter and produce small vascular dilation which is fundamentally esthetic.

Treatment with glycerin esclero therapy or foam can greatly improve the appearance and not only is it an outpatient treatment, but is almost pain free.
